The festive events devoted to the 90th anniversary of foundation of St. Petersburg University of the Humanities and Social Sciences were held. Teachers, staff, veterans, graduates, the best students of SPbUHSS and the University friends: eminent scientists, state, public and cultural figures, experts participated in celebration.

All events started at 11 a.m. with opening the reconstructed Theater and Concert Hall named after Andrey Petrov and then continued at 2 p.m. in Dumsky Hall of the Tauride Palace with ceremonial meeting of the Academic Council.

The festive concert began at 4 p.m. in Ekaterininsky Hall of the Tauride Palace. Russian pop-stars took part in the concert.

Buffet reception was offered to teaching staff, graduates and University guests after the concert. And tomorrow buffet reception and disco will be waiting for SPbUHSS students.
